Food for puppies … (Edit)?

I was wondering what is wrong with food pedigree? I made sure I looked at the range of food Puppies available before I bought pedigree and appeared to be the best product. I am currently feeding him three meals a day – a mix of canned and dry food. About 2 tablespoons of wet food and a quarter cup of dry food at each meal. It is an 8 week old Border Collie. These are the ingredients for the food. SECO: maize, rice, vegetable proteins, meat and meat products (poultry, beef, lamb), tallow, fish meal, vegetables, vegetable oil, salt, pulp beet, minerals, inulin, taurine, vitamins, marigold meal, beat-carotene. WET: chicken, beef, lamb, Prok, brown rice, jelly, vitamins and minerals (Calcium, zinc, vitamins E and C, B1 and B6), vegetable fiber, sunflower oil and natural antioxidants.

the main problem of the dry ingredient is corn principal, dogs can digest corn, but it really isn't good for them and the rice is not so bad but then you plant protein that is a very poor source of protein and then the meat products. the problem with the meat product is that it is still legally considered a protein and therefore permissible in food, but you are speaking of nails, hooves, feathers, beaks. all these are considered by the products and are simply filler that do nothing good for your dog's diet. isn't wet too bad, but the fiber plant and gelling agents arent really that good for him. When choosing a food simply read the ingredients and everything that has corn or products as one of the first 5 ingredients simply isn't good enough hope this helps
