Vitamin E Iu Definition
Vitamin experts please?
I am an elderly gentleman who has been taking vitamin supplements for many years, including vitamin E. Had been taking 400 IU every day, but has recently reduced that to 400 every other day because I have to believe that "much E is also bad for you." By Of course, too much of something is bad by definition, but I really like learning WD how much the sustainable human development to take … and how much is "too much" … And what is the effect of an "overdose." (He suffered no apparent ill effects 400/day for many years.) Would appreciate the views of real experts … preferably with references.
I found this website … What http://www.healingdaily.com/detoxification-diet/vitamin-e.htm is the health risk of vitamin E too? The health risk of vitamin E is too low (18). A recent review of the safety of vitamin E in people of age found that taking vitamin E supplements for up to 4 months at doses of 530 mg or 800 IU (35 times the current RDA) had no negative side effects general health, body weight, levels of body proteins, lipid levels, liver or kidney function, thyroid hormones, the amount or types of blood cells, and bleeding time (19). However, it should be noted that the total intake of vitamin E products above 1200 IU / day may interfere with the absorption and metabolism of vitamins A and K. However, one can get benefits with much lower levels of vitamin E.
